Environmental Health and Risk Assessments

An environmental and health risk assessment is an organized approach to evaluate the toxicology and transport processes of chemicals in the environment. Risk assessments are increasingly being used to estimate contaminant concentrations in soil, air, and water in order to protect human health and to identify those contaminants that are not a threat to the environment.
