Indoor Air Quality Services

Review & Evaluation

With Client approval, APEX will survey building occupants through a questionnaire and/or personal interviews. The questionnaire gives us a starting point of where people are being affected and how they are being affected and how they are being affected.

Ventilation Evaluation

APEX evaluates the overall ventilation effectiveness by carbon dioxide mapping. We assess the design, operation, and maintenance of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Measurement Of Comfort Parameters

APEX measures for ASHRAE comfort parameters, including temperature, relative humidity, and air velocity.

Examination And Investigation

APEX examines the building for contaminant sources in both the indoor and outdoor environment by testing for specific contaminants where potential sources are identified.

Microbiological Testing and Remediation Design

APEX performs microbiological testing to determine the levels of specific types of fungi and bacteria. Air samples, bulk samples, and surface samples are collected for analysis to establish the degree and the source of contamination. If fungi and/or bacteria are identified, APEX can design effective and safe remediation procedures to remove the hazard properly.

Investigative Report

APEX provides the client with a detailed report discussing the problem’s source and recommendations regarding control or reduction of the IAQ hazards.

Annual Or Bi-annual IAQ Surveys

APEX performs annual or bi-annual IAQ surveys to examine and record the effectiveness of the control measures and the health of the building’s occupants.
